Gary Coleman died today at age 42 following hospitalization for an intracranial hemorrhage, a publicist confirms.

Coleman is best known for playing Arnold Jackson in the long-running sitcom Diff’rent Strokes as well as frequent appearances, often as himself, in TV and film. He made famous his Diff’rent Strokes catchphrase “Whatchoo talkin’ ’bout, Willis?”

Coleman had been on life support since earlier this week at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah near his home in Salt Lake City.
