Will Poulter will play Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Adam Warlock is finally coming to the MCU. After teasing his appearance at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it’s now been confirmed that Will Poulter has landed the role in Marvel’s highly-anticipated sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. James Gunn is returning to direct, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing.

The character was first teased in a post-credit scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, when a pod is unveiled that’s said to contain the perfect Sovereign that has been created to help destroy the Guardians once and for all.

Plot details about the third installment are still under wraps, but it will potentially involve the team’s search for the missing Gamora, who abruptly left after Thanos was finally defeated. Vol. 3 has a release date set for May 5, 2023.

G4 returns to television on November 16th

Seven years after it disappeared, G4 is returning to television. The gaming network will be revived on November 16th on Xfinity TV, Cox, and Verizon Fios, as well as streaming on Philo.

G4 also has a multi-year promotional and commercial deal with Twitch. The network will keep making dedicated content for social media channels, including YouTube, as well.

Classic G4 series Attack of the Show! and Xplay are returning with their respective former hosts, Kevin Pereira and Adam Sessler. A weekly show called Boosted will focus on esports coverage, while there will also be a series in which G4 talent and guests play Dungeons & Dragons, along with all 167 episodes of Ninja Warrior.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation returns this November

Netflix has announced that Part 2 of Kevin Smith’s animated series Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which premiered in July, returns on November 23rd.

With Skeletor now wielding the Sword of Power as Skelegod, the weary heroes of Eternia must band together to fight back against the forces of evil in a thrilling and epic conclusion to the series.

Tales of the Walking Dead anthology series gets greenlit at AMC

AMC Networks has greenlit a new series in the expanding universe of The Walking Dead titled Tales of the Walking Dead. Channing Powell, who has been a writer and producer on both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, will serve as showrunner for the new project.

The logline reads, “Tales of the Walking Dead is an episodic anthology series with one-hour standalone episodes focused on both new and established characters set in the world of the original series. An initial season of six episodes is expected to go into production early next year and premiere on AMC+ and AMC next summer.”
