Netflix and EPIX have announced their agreement to stream EPIX content over Netflix's "instant streaming" service.

Netflix and EPIX have announced their agreement to stream EPIX content over Netflix’s “instant streaming” service. Starting September 1st, movies will be included from the libraries of Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM, bringing some industry “heavy hitters” into the popular rental service’s on-demand repertoire.

The agreement states that new releases from these partners will be available to stream instantly on Netflix 90 days after their initial debut on premium pay TV and subscription on demand services. For a service like Netflix where popular movies seem to always have a “very long wait”, those 90 days may still allow you to get to some of those new releases much faster.
