Alright Sonic fans, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that when Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is released, it will not only be on XBLA, PSN, and Wiiware, but now it has been announced that you can get the blue speedster on your iPhone/iPod touch.
The bad news is that it has been pushed back from Summer 2010 to “late 2010”. The official press release gives us the rationale:
“The additional time will allow the Development Team to focus on ensuring overall high-quality throughout the game by continuing to tune, balance, and maintain the kind of polish that an important title like this demands,” the press release reads, “and ultimately providing fans with an unrivaled classic Sonic feel.”
