Filming on the RoboCop reboot started today in Toronto and set photos featuring Joel Kinnaman as the cyborg police officer have already surfaced online.
Directed by Jose Padilha, the August 9, 2013 release also features Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Jay Baruchel, Jennifer Ehle, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
Call me crazy, but I’m OK with this design. I miss the silver, but there’s also no confirmation that this is the final look of the character we’ll see in the entire movie. It’s very possible that the first version in the movie is a prototype, to be tweaked and refined as the movie progresses.

terrible. From everything i’ve read and heard this movie is going to be awful. Terrible script. Stupid changes. Don’t mess with the original. No need to be rebooted.
The suit is meh. It could be worse. But everything about this movie seems misguided.

That is what I thought when I saw the new Robocop.
