A group of scientists at Waterloo Labs have made my wildest dreams come true. Using computers built into go-karts, they have effectively created the closest thing to a real life simulation of Mario Kart. Items placed along the course are recorded by the computers and force the karts to respond accordingly – speeding up at the use of a mushroom, losing control when a banana peel is run over or even stopping when hit by a koopa shell.
