Al Pacino has signed on to voice the currently unnamed villain in Despicable Me 2.
Al Pacino has signed on to voice the currently unnamed villain in Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ Despicable Me 2. Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove and Russell Brand are set to return for the July 3, 2013 release.
The first film was a big hit for Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment. The $69 million-budgeted Despicable Me opened on July 9, 2010 and went on to earn $543.1 million worldwide.
