While no significant details have yet surfaced for the upcoming Mega Man Universe, the trailer is certainly intriguing. Various incarnations of Mega Man are joined by Ryu and Arthur, even leading at one point to a hybrid of the characters. Aside from a few quotes in a press release that remain very vague, not much else is known about the title coming to both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
“We are thrilled to finally be able to announce Mega Man Universe,” said Kenji Inafune, Head of Research and Development Management for Capcom Entertainment. “This game will break the mold and challenge the conventional wisdom of what a Mega Man game can be. When fans finally get to see it, I believe they’ll envision their most far-out Mega Man dreams coming true.”
