A new version of Voltron, titled 'Voltron Force', will air 26 half-hour episodes on Nicktoons.
Variety has reported that a new version of Voltron is coming to television. The new animated series, titled Voltron Force, is set to air on Nicktoons with 26 half-hour episodes.
The series will remain faithful to the old show about five space explorers who pilot robotic lions that combine to form Voltron, an invincible guardian sworn to defend the Universe, while also introducing new characters to fight along with the original group.
Mattel will mirror the launch of the new show by releasing toys based on both the classic version of Voltron as well as the new incarnation.
