In an interview with MTV Movies Blog, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura gave some details about the sequel to the $300-plus million grossing G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

  • Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have delivered a script, but it’s not yet complete.
  • They’re aiming to start filming next Spring for a Summer 2012 release date.
  • No actors have yet been confirmed for the sequel.
  • 3D is a possibility, but hasn’t been confirmed or denied.
