Pokémon X and Y will be released worldwide on October 12, 2013.
Announced earlier this year, Nintendo gave more information about the next upcoming Pokémon title coming for the Nintendo 3DS. Some new Pokémon can be seen in the trailer and a new twist has been added to the gaming franchise involving the new Eevee evolution -Sylveon. Not since Pokémon Gold and Silver have we seen a new type added which will bring the number of Pokémon types up to 18. Pokémon X and Y will be released worldwide on October 12, 2013.
