Minutes ago, both the official Facebook pages for Showtime and Dexter announced that Dexter fans won’t have to wait for Fall 2013 to see their favorite serial killer return to television. The announcement states that Season 8 of Dexter will premiere on Sunday, June 30th at 9PM ET/PT, immediately followed by the series premiere of Ray Donovan at 10PM ET/PT.
Regarding rumors that the eighth season will be the conclusion of the series, the Showtime president confirmed that it “is the likely endpoint,” but he’s open to the possibility that those plans could change.
