With a new director and writer officialy signed, the reboot of The Crow refuses to die.

Even though Bradley Cooper and director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo have left the project, the reboot of The Crow refuses to die. Relativity Media and Dimension Film’s have announced that they’ve closed a deal with F. Javier Gutiérrez to direct the film. Writer Jesse Wigutow has signed on to pen a new script.

Even with a changing of the guard, the plan remains to retell the story of Eric Draven, who returns from the grave as The Crow on a mission to avenge his wife’s murder so that his soul can finally rest.
