I agree about Venom in Spidey 3, Bryan. I thought Topher Grace was just fine for what they were doing with Venom. The idea of what they were doing anyway. (Really, he should have been Peter Parker, but let’s not split hairs.) The problem was shoehorning him into the film on Sony’s insistence instead of using the character to set up a fourth film that would focus on him.
