January Jones confirmed as Emma Frost in First Class

January Jones has signed a deal to play Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class. Previous reports/rumors foretold of either Rosamund Pike or Alice Eve (that was my vote) possibly playing the telepath, but it’s been confirmed that the Mad Men star has locked it up.

Jones joins James McAvoy, Rose Byrne, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Kevin Bacon, Jason Flemyng and Oliver Platt in the Marvel Comics adaptation, set to hit theaters on June 3, 2011.
