The trailer for Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s Howl is now online.
The film starts James Franco as Beat poet Allen Ginsberg, who found himself the defendant in a 1957 obscenity trial for his collection of works, “Howl and other Poems.” The film also stars Alan Alda, Jeff Daniels, Jon Hamm, Mary-Louise Parker, Paul Rudd and David Strathairn.
Howl is currently slated for a limited release on September 24th.
